I had so many listeners calling up asking about the curry parody of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen that I played on the radio show this morning.
You can listen to and download Byriani Rhapsody from iTunes today. It was released yesterday. Enjoy!
Stinky Screams
Thorpe Park in Surrey has started to offer customers a swig of mouthwash before boarding their thrill rides after complaints from some customers who’ve had to sit next to someone with a stinky scream!
The most unpopular smells revealed this morning include garlic, cigarettes, alcohol, coffee and curry.
Best Dressed Celebrity
The Dutchess of Cambridge has come top of a poll as one of the world’s most stylish people. Kate Middleton has been featured in Vanity Fair’s annual list of best dressed women.
The French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was voted number one.
New Scrabble Words
The Collins Official Scrabble Words, that only allows words that have been proven to be used and written down regularly in the English language, have introduced some new words to the game.
If you’re a fun of curry it’s good news as you can now get away with ‘keema’ or the less point rich ‘aloo’ which will score you 4 points.
‘Innit’, ‘wiki’ and ‘myspace’ have also made it into the game!
Fish Songs
Twitter has been a top story in the news for all the wrong reasons this morning with the fact that people can tweet names involved in super-injunctions and get away with it.
The lighter side of Twitter this morning has seen the tag #fishsongs trending. Here are a few good ones for you:
- Madonna – Pike A Virgin
- Kiss – Trout It Out Loud
- Black Eyed Peas – I’ve got A Eeling
- Brotherhood of Man – Save All Your Fishes For Me
- Blur – Gills & Bouys
