Southeastern to Raise Ticket Prices?

A change to the way that train fares are set means passengers are likely to stomach at least an 8 percent increases in train ticket prices come the New Year due to inflation.

The previous way of calculating a fare increase was inflation plus 1 percent but now it’s inflation plus 3 percent which could mean train fares in Medway and Kent increasing by 8%-13%.
